Lovely tea rooms with friendly staff. Menu was basic toasties, sandwiches and baked potato but very tasty. Would recommend if in the area. They also have small selection of household items, gifts and art to purchase. Also dog friendly.

Sweet little tea room in the village. Had a delicious breakfast bap. Good selection of coffee/tea/cakes. Dogs are welcome and friendly service.

Nice tea room food superb

Very good coffee. Typical tea room fares. Freshly prepared food and can tell the staff put in the effort and take pride in what they do. Reasonable price. There is a little shop selling basic supplies, should Amazon fail.

A lovely little tea room in the old school. Does eat in and takeaway. The food was priced right and tasty. The cafe is dog friendly and there are some nice information boards inside about the village history. There is a small free car park for the tea rooms and a pleasant village green opposite (no dog allowed on the green). There is also a nice walk along the river to Keilder Dam and the village hall offers free WiFi for those who can’t survive without a phone signal.

Lovely little cafe/tea room. Delicious Full English and breakfast sandwich, jam packed with everything on. Good quality bacon and sausage.Very friendly staff and service. Our dog was made very welcome too.

Nice cafe, log burner to keep you warm. Bits and pieces around the cafe to purchase as gifts. Outside toilet facilities.
